Ink
Manga Studio has a wide variety of different inking pens.
Option 1:
To get started, you will need to create a new layer. In this case, we're going to create a raster layer. If you own the EX version, you can also work on vector layers to create resolution independent artwork. Rename your Layer to Ink Layer, select 'Layer Type' - Raster Layer, select 'Color Model' - Black and White, and select 'Finish' as the Output Attribute. Since we're inking on this layer, we want our inked layer to appear in our final image.
Now go to Window - Tools to open the Tools Palette. Then select the Pen Tool and start inking your drawing. To access the tool options, just double click on the pen tool.

Option 2:
Open a new layer, called the Ink Layer as described above. You can also access the inking pens through the Beginner's Assistant interface. Hit the F10 shortcut key or go to Window - Beginner's Assistant to access the interface. To access the inking pens, click on the Draw tab.
